GAIL Recruitment 2023 for 277 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualification, and Other Important Details
GAIL Recruitment 2023: GAIL (India) Limited, a Natural Gas company is inviting applications from Indian Nationals for the posts of Chief Manager, Senior Engineer, Senior Officer, and Officer (Security). There are a total of 277 vacancies for the given posts. As per the official notification of GAIL Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for the given posts will be given a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 240000. The upper age limit to apply for Chief Manager is 40 years and for all other posts is 28 years.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews and Physical Endurance Tests. Eligible candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of GAIL. No other means/mode of application shall be entertained. Candidates belonging to UR/EWS/OBC (NCL) categories have to pay Rs. 200 as an application fee and SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from payment. 4. Senior Engineer (Mechanical) – 53
5. Senior Engineer (Electrical) – 28
6. Senior Engineer (Instrumentation) – 14
7. Senior Engineer (GAILTEL (TC/TM)) – 03
8. Senior Engineer (Metallurgy) – 05
9. Senior Officer (Fire & Safety) – 25
10. Senior Officer (C&P) – 32
11. Senior Officer (Marketing) – 23
12. Senior Officer (Finance & Accounts) – 23
13. Senior Officer (Human Resources) – 24
14. Officer (Security) – 14
There are a total of 277 vacancies for the given posts.
For Chief Manager, the upper age limit of the selected candidate shall be 40 years.
For the candidates selected for all other posts, the age of the candidate shall not be above 28 years.
Relaxation will be given by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC, and by 10 years for PwBD.
Salary for GAIL Recruitment 2023 as per Official Notification is Given below:
For Chief Manager:
The selected candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 90000 to Rs. 240000.
For Office Security:
The candidates selected for the post will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 50000 to Rs. 160000.
For all Other Posts:
The selected candidates will be given a monthly remuneration between Rs. 60000 to Rs. 180000.
1. For Chief Manager:
The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electrical & Instrumentation/Chemical with a minimum of 65% marks.
Experience:
He/She should hold a minimum of 12 (twelve) years post-qualification executive in-line experience (Including experience as GET/ ET/ MT) in the field of Renewable Energy in the area of Wind/Solar/Hydrogen in State/ Central Government Department(s)/Institution(s)/Undertaking(s) and/or Large Private Sector Organization(s)/Institution(s)/Company(ies) of repute, as an employee of that Organization.
2. For Senior Engineer (Renewable Energy)
The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electrical & Instrumentation/Chemical with a minimum of 65 % marks.
Experience:
Minimum 01 (one) year post-qualification executive in line experience (Including experience as GET/ ET/ MT) in the field of Renewable Energy in the area of Wind/Solar/Hydrogen in State/ Central Government Department(s)/ Institution(s)/ Undertaking(s) and/ or Large Private Sector Organization(s)/ Institution(s)/ Company(ies) of repute, as an employee of that Organization.
For Senior Officer (Marketing):
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with minimum 65% Marks and Two years MBA with a specialization in Marketing/ Oil & Gas/Petroleum and Energy/Energy and Infrastructure/International Business with minimum 65% Marks.
Minimum 01 (One) year post-qualification executive in line experience (including experience as GET/ ET/ MT) in marketing functions in State/Central Government/Department(s)/Organisation(s)/Undertaking(s)and/or Large Private Sector Organization(s)/Institution(s)/Company(ies) of repute, as an employee of that Organization.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews and the Physical Endurance Test. The selection process will be tentative. The selection process may, however, vary depending on the administrative/ business requirements of the Company as per Official GAIL Recruitment 2023 notification.
