GIC Recruitment 2024: General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) is hiring candidates to fill out application forms for the post of Assistant Manager (Scale 1 Officer) in various streams. These streams include General, Legal, HR, Engineering, IT, and Finance, etc. Candidates who are chosen and deemed medically fit will be placed on probation as assistant managers for a year, with the possibility of an additional one-year extension. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the online test, group discussion, interview, and medical examination (with the exception of medical (MBBS)). Chosen candidates will get a Basic pay of Rs.50925 per month.The total emoluments will be approximately Rs. 85,000 p.m. plus other benefits.
As stated in the official GIC Recruitment 2024 notification, There are 110 vacancies. Candidates need to pay a Non-refundable Fee of Rs.1000 as Processing and Examination fees and candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, PH candidates, Female candidates, and the employees of GIC and GIPSA Member Companies are exempted from the fees. The chosen candidate will be assigned to the Head Office in Mumbai, but they may also be assigned elsewhere in India or overseas based on the needs of the company. The Age limit for the assigned position should be between 21 to 30 years.
