GMRC Recruitment 2023: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Station Controller/ Train Operator, Customer Relations Assistant (CRA), Junior Engineer and Maintainer. The selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs.100000. There are 424 vacant seats available for the given posts. In accordance with the official notification GMRC Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a written test and Gujarati Language Test. The candidates of General/Un-Reserved (including Ex-servicemen) categories have to pay Rs.600 (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax) as a Non-Refundable Fee and candidates of SEBC/OBC categories have to pay Rs.300 (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax) as a Non-Refundable Fee. The candidates of SC/ST/EWS categories have to pay Rs.150 (inclusive of bank charges plus service tax) as a Non-Refundable Fee.
As per the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, candidates applying for the above-mentioned post should have crossed the age of 18 years and the candidates applying for Station Controller/ Train Operator, Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) and Junior Engineer should be below the age of 28 years and the candidates applying for the post of Maintainer should be below the age of 25 years. The appointment is made on a contract basis. The selected candidates will be engaged for a period of 05 years. Those candidates who are qualified in tests based on merit shall have to undergo the medical fitness test(s) and meet the medical standards prescribed by GMRC for various posts.
As mentioned in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a contract basis for a period of 05 years. The training period of two years is divided as per the organizational requirement which includes classroom training, technical training, on-the-job training, etc. along with a probation period which shall include a customized training program, where the candidates will undergo intensive training as prescribed by GMRC.
