Age Limit for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the age limit for the specified post is given below-

For General Manager (on a Contract basis)-

• The candidates should have a maximum age of 55 years to apply.

For Additional General Manager (on a Contract basis)-

• The candidates should have a maximum age of 53 years to apply.

For Applying on Deputation Basis-

• The candidates should have a maximum age of 58 years.

For Applying on Post- Superannuation basis-

• The candidates should have a maximum age of 62 years.

Qualification and Experience for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications and experience are mentioned below-

• Candidate must be B.Arch. graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute and should have experience in planning and designing elevated/ underground metro stations/urban railway projects and checking conformity of station layout to NBC/NFPA standards. Candidates who have experience designing a large number of elevated Metro stations, which are in Operation with ample exposure to use design software like AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D Max, Revit, BIM etc. will be preferred. In addition, the candidate shall be conversant with the procedures for obtaining statutory clearance from local authorities.

Experience for General Manager (Architect)-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 20 years of post‐qualification relevant experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of civil engineering, or 17 years post‐qualification relevant experience at the executive level in Government / PSU’s.
• Candidate should have at least 2 years experience in IDA pay scale of Rs.100000‐ 260000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA (Level 13 and above) pay scale OR should be working with reputed private organizations drawing salary (CTC) of minimum Rs. 200000/‐ per month (approximately).

Experience for Additional General Manager (Architect)-

• Candidate should have a minimum of 18 years of post‐qualification experience at the Executive level in a reputed private organization of Civil Engineering or 15 years of qualification experience at the Executive level in Government / PSU.
• Candidate from government/PSU’s should have worked at least 2 years in IDA pay scale of Rs.90000‐240000 or higher pay scales or equivalent CDA pay scale. Candidates having experience in the private sector should be working with reputed private organizations drawing a salary (CTC) of a minimum of Rs. 180000 per month (approximately).

Salary for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 120000‐280000/100000‐260000.

Tenure for GMRC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of GMRC Recruitment 2023, the appointment is made on a Contract/Deputation/post-superannuation basis and the selected candidates will be engaged for a minimum period of 03 years but extendable up to 05 years.
