Details for Goa Public Service Commission Recruitment 2022:

GOA POLICE DEPARTMENT

1. First Expert for Finger Print Bureau – 01

Scale of Pay: Rs. 44,900-Rs. 1,42,400 (As per pay matrix Level-7)

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential: Official holding analogous post in the Finger Print bureau at any State/Centre.

Period of Deputation: The deputation period shall not exceed three years.

2. Second Expert for Finger Print Bureau – 01

Scale of Pay: Rs.35,400 – Rs.1,12,400 (As per pay matrix Level-6)

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential: Official holding analogous post in the Finger Print bureau at any State/Centre.

Period of Deputation: The deputation period shall not exceed three years.

3. Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratory – 01

Toxicology, Chemistry and Narcotics – 01 (reserved for OBC)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400 (As per revised pay matrix level 6)

Age: The age of the candidate shall not exceed 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Master’s Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognised University for post at Toxicology, Chemistry and Narcotics of the table below with specialization in the relevant discipline in Chemistry/Forensic Science

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

(i) Should be Computer literate.

(ii) Knowledge of Marathi

PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Directorate of Health Services

Tutor in the Institute of Nursing Education – 03 posts (reserved for OBC)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 + 4,200 (As per revised pay matrix level 6)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Master’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized University and if a candidate with Master’s Degree in Nursing is not available, Bachelor of Science in Nursing/Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized University, with three years of experience, out of which, one year should be teaching experience in School/College of Nursing.

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE

1. Assistant Professor in Neurology – 02

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + 6,600 (As per revised pay matrix level 11)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956).

(ii) Postgraduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent.

(iii) At least one-year of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

2. Lecturer in:

(i) Radiology – 01 post (reserved for OBC)

(ii) Surgery – 04  

(iii) Paediatric Surgery – 01

(iv) Orthopaedic Surgery – 01 (reserved for OBC)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + 6,600

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (i) Paediatric Surgery – 02 (1 reserved for OBC, 1 reserved for ST)

(ii) Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery – 02 (1 reserved for OBC)

(iv) Nephrology – 02 posts (1 reserved for OBC)

(v) Medical Oncology – 01

(vi) Neurosurgery – 01 (reserved for OBC)

Essential:

(i) Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognised University.

(ii) Minimum three years of teaching experience in the concerned speciality.

GOA DENTAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL

1. Lecturer in:

 (i) Oral Pathology and Microbiology – 01 (reserved for OBC)

 (ii) Public Health Dentistry – 01 post (reserved for OBC)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5400/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 10)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948.

(iii) Should be registered with Dental Council.

(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

(i) One-year teaching experience after post-graduation in a recognized Institute.

(ii) Three years’ experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a recognized Dental College/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution.

(iii) Knowledge of Marathi.

DIRECTORATE OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Goa College Of Home Science

Librarian – 01

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + 6,000/- (As per revised pay matrix level 10) Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information science/documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ on the UGC seven-point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library.

(ii) Qualifying in the National Level Test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or State Level Test (SET) accredited by the UGC. Those holding Ph.D. Degree is exempted from NET. Candidates holding Ph.D. degrees and are already in the University system and have obtained a Master’s Degree prior to 1991 be given a relaxation of 5% from 55% to 50% of marks for appointment to the post of College Librarian.

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:

(i)M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript Keeping.

(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

Assistant Professor in:

Essential:

(i) Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

(ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph. D. Degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph. D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”.

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

(i) B. E./B. Tech. and M.E./M. Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M. Tech.

Note: For the above purpose, ‘relevant’ means the branch in which the post is to be filled up or such other branch where there is demonstrative evidence of likeness of the subject matter covered.

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

 

CAPTAIN OF PORTS DEPARTMENT

Technical Superintendent (Ports) – 01 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+5,400 (As per revised pay matrix level 9)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Marine or Automobile Engineering of a recognized University/Institute.

(ii) 5 years of experience for degree holders and 6 years of experience for diploma holders in maintenance/overhauling and repairs of marine/auto diesel engines/hull repairs etc. in a reputed Shipyard/Marine Workshop and also in a Port Operations and Establishment in any State of India.

(iii) Knowledge of Port Operations under the International Ships and Port Security code, the Merchant Shipping Act, 1958 and the Indian Ports Act, 1908.

(iv) Knowledge of Swimming

(v) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

 

DIRECTORATE OF PLANNING, STATISTICS AND EVALUATION

Statistical Officer – 03 posts

Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 + 4,600 (As per revised pay matrix level 7)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Master’s Degree in Science with Statistics/Operation Research or Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Economics/Commerce (with Statistics)/Business Administration/Computer Application with Statistics as one of the subjects of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) Three years’ experience in collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of statistical data in any recognised Central or State Government Organisations/Research Projects/Educational Institutions/Research Organisations.

(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

 

DIRECTORATE OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT

Child Development Project Officer/Social Welfare Officer – 03 posts

Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,200/- (pre-revised) (As per revised pay matrix level 6)

Age: Not exceeding 45 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:

Essential:

(i) Master’s degree in Social Service /Social Welfare / Social Work /Sociology /Psychology/Home Science with Nutrition or Child development as a subject from a recognised University or equivalent. OR (i) Bachelor Degree in Social Service /Social Welfare /Social Work /Sociology/Psychology/Home Science with Nutrition or Child Development as a subject from a recognised University or equivalent, with two years’ experience in social work in any Social Welfare Organisation/Institution.

(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi

Note: Only candidates belonging to Unreserved, ST and OBC categories with benchmark disability ‘deaf and hard of hearing’ will be eligible to apply for the post reserved for PwD.

 

DIRECTORATE OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND VETERINARY SERVICES
