Goa Public Service Commission Recruitment 2024: The Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) is looking for interested and well-qualified candidates to fill the posts of Senior Surgeon, Junior Surgeon, Probation Officer (Female), and Assistant Professor in the subjects of English, Geography, Zoology and Chemistry (Physical). The candidates should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Junior Surgeon (By Direct Recruitment) –
The candidates should have a recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

The candidates should have a good academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grades at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
