Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) is hiring applicants for the post of Archaeological Engineer, Class-2 under the Directorate of Archaeology and Museum. There are 04 vacancies for the given post.

Age Limit for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 39 years.

Qualification for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the GPSC Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

• Candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least second class OR Possess a diploma in Civil Engineering with first class obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
• Candidate should possess the basic knowledge of Computer applications as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment Rules, 1967 as amended from time to time.
• Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Experience for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023,  the candidate should have about three years experience(for a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering)/Have about five years experience (for a diploma in Civil Engineering) on a post, not below the rank of Conservation Assistant, Class III in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Gujarat State OR Have about three years(or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering)/Have about five years(for diploma in Civil Engineering) combined or separate experience in the field of Civil Construction Work or Archaeology or Restoration Work in the Government / Local bodies/ Government undertaking Board / Corporation or Limited Company established by Law in India on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Conservation Assistant, Class III, in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Gujarat.

Salary for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will get a monthly salary of up to Rs.167800.

Selection Procedure for GPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis written test followed by an interview.

Prelim Exam:- Total 300 Marks (Part-A: General Studies 100-Questions-100 Marks and Part-B: Concerned Subject 200-Questions, 200 Marks, Time Duration 3 hours (180 minutes).

Marks for Interview:-  100 Marks
