GPSC Recruitment 2023: Gujarat Public Service Commission is inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for the engagement of Assistant Professor (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, General State Service, Class-1) to fill out 4 open vacancies through mandated selection terms. As stated in the official announcement of GPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates will be examined for the current profile on the basis of Examination (Objective) + Interview merit. The age range for applicants filling out the application form is 21 to 43 years; however, age relaxation will be allowed for those who are already in the service of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Regulation, 1967. The shortlisted applicants would be offered a monthly compensation of Rs. 68,900/- (Grade pay based level – 11) according to the GPSC Recruitment 2023 official notice. Candidates who are interested and qualified for the offered positions may apply through the official website, which was started on September 15, 2023 and will close on September 30, 2023. The candidates will be invited for a scheduled Prelim Exam that consists total of 200 Marks (Concerned Subject 200 Questions, 200 Marks, and Time Duration 3 hours). The appointing authority will shortlist candidates based on their performance made during the selection procedure which is 50% Weightage of Prelim’s Marks & 50% Weightage of Interview Marks. The prelim examination will be held on 15-Dec-2023 and the result will be announced in February 2024. The application fee for candidates from the unreserved category is Rs. 100, as stated in the official notice of GPSC Recruitment 2023.

As per GPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates should consist of the following academic qualifications that must be recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Candidates should have at least three years of teaching experience as Junior Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator or Tutor in the concerned Subject and one year as senior resident in the concerned subject as specified in the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023.
As given in the official notification of GPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates who are shortlisted for the current role will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 68,900/- (Grade pay based level – 11).
As per the official GPSC Recruitment 2023 announcement, candidates will be considered for positions in the unreserved category and positions reserved for members of the Economically Weaker Section, SEBC, SC, and ST categories, as well as positions reserved for female candidates in those categories, based on their performance in the selection process.
