HAL Recruitment 2023: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has sought online applications from eligible and interested candidates for the post of Security Guard (Ex-Servicemen) and Fitter on a tenure basis. As per the official notification, there are a total of 5 vacancies for Security Guard posts and 2 vacancies for fitter posts. The fitter vacancies are open only for PwBD candidates. According to the HAL recruitment 2023 notification, selected candidates will be employed for a period of 4 years. The vacancies have been released by the LCA Tejas Division, HAL, Bangalore Complex.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navaratna Central Public Sector undertaking, is South East Asia’s top Aeronautical Industry, with 20 Production/Overhaul/Service Divisions, 10 co-located R&D Centres, and 1 Facility Management Division distributed across the country. As per the HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, only Indian nationals are allowed to apply for the released vacancies. The HAL has released the above-mentioned vacancies for the candidates sponsored by Employment Exchange, Sainik Board, and the Ex-Apprentices of HAL, TTI (BC) who have received communication from HAL. According to the HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility criteria for both posts are given below:
Security Guard:
Educational Qualification: should possess PUC/Intermediate or SSLC + 3 years of Ex-servicemen (Combatant) experience
Desirable Skills: Candidates having knowledge and hands-on experience in operating computers, and possessing a Driving license of drive two wheeler/four wheeler will be preferred
Age Limit: The prescribed age limit is 3 years after the retirement age of the candidate from the armed forces. The upper age limit with all relaxations for Ex-servicemen should not be more than 55 years (see official notification below for relaxations)
Fitter:
Educational Qualification: Should possess regular / full-Time ITI + NAC / NCTVT course after 10th Std. from the recognized Technical Board. Candidate should have this qualification as of 01.04.2023.
Cut-off Percentage: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in the above examination.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st April 2023. The relaxation in the age limit to the reserved candidates will be provided as per existing rules of the Government of India (see official notification below for relaxations).
As mentioned in the HAL Recruitment 2023 official notification, qualified applicants will be assigned to HAL, LCA Tejas Division, and Aerospace Division in Bangalore. However, depending on organizational needs, they may be transferred, posted, or assigned to any other location where HAL has Divisions, Offices, or Bases.

Fitter:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the written test and marks secured in the qualifying exam. The written test will be held in Bangalore. The date and time of the Written Test will be intimated to the shortlisted eligible candidates by email / HAL website
Security Guard:
The security guard recruitment selection process will have two phases. The first phase will be a physical standards test. The detailed physical standards for various age groups are mentioned in the official notification. Shortlisted candidates will then have to appear for the 2nd phase, a written test of MCQ type.
