Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Civil Engineer and Chemical Engineer:
The candidates should have 04-years full-time regular engineering courses in their respective Engineering disciplines.
Fire and Safety Officer – Mumbai Refinery and Fire and Safety Officer – Visakh Refinery:
The candidates should have Full-time regular BE/ B Tech in Fire Engineering or Fire and Safety Engineering.
Quality Control (QC) Officers:
The candidates should have 02 Years of full-time regular M.Sc. In Chemistry (Analytical / Physical / Organic/ Inorganic
Chartered Accountants:
The candidates should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) along with completion of mandatory Article ship and Membership of ICAI.
Law Officers and Law Officers:
The candidates should have an HR- 03 -03-year full-time course in law after graduation or 5 5-year course in law after the 12th Standard.
Welfare Officer:
The candidates should have a Degree in Social Science recognized by the State Government of Maharashtra or a Graduation in any discipline and a Diploma in Social Science recognized by the State Government of Maharashtra.

As mentioned in the official notification of HPCL Recruitment 2023, the selected officers will be on probation for one year from the date of their appointment. After successfully completing the Probation period, the officer will be considered for confirmation in accordance with corporate policy.
In accordance with the official notification of HPCL Recruitment 2023, the committee will pick candidates based on a computer-based test, group task, personal interview, Moot court (only for Law Officers and Law Officers-HR), and other criteria. The details of the exam will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates later.
