• The candidate should have knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and be suitable for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the province.

• The chosen candidates will get a monthly salary Rs.10300 to Rs.34800 plus (GP 5000).

• Bonafide Himachali Certificate in case of reserved category candidates.
• Valid EWS/BPL Certificate.

Selection Process for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

As indicated in the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the method of selection is based on the Screening/Preliminary exam and personality test.

Paper- I-

A 1-hour computer-based or offline screening test has 100 points as follows:

• General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh –30 marks
• General knowledge of National and International Affairs- 30 Marks
• Knowledge of the Hindi language: 20 Marks
• Knowledge of the English language -20 Marks

Paper-II-

• A Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of 03 hours duration and 120 marks, as determined by the Commission from time to time.
