Post Name and Vacancy for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the eligible and qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for the position of Assistant Professor (Pathology) Class-I (Gazetted) in the Department of Pathology at Dr RKGMC, Hamirpur, H.P. There is only 01 seat available for the aforementioned position.

Qualification for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Essential Qualification-

• The applicants should have a recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than license qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now the National Medical Commission Act 2019. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now the National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
• The candidates should have postgraduate degrees in the concerned speciality as mentioned in Part A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications.
• The applicants should have at least 3 years of teaching experience as a lecturer, registrar, demonstrator, or resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized medical college.
• The candidates should have an M.D. (Pathology), Ph.D. (Pathology), or D.Sc. (Pathology).

Desirable Qualification-

• The applicants should know the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh, suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh, and publication of research papers in Index Journals.

Other Qualification-

• The candidates should have an M.D.  a Ph.D. (Pathology) or a D.Sc. (pathology).

Age Limitation for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s age limits are given below:

• The candidate’s lower age limit should be 18 years as on 01-01-2023.
• The candidate’s upper age limit should be 45 years as on 01-01-2023.

Salary for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate’s salary is given below:

• The selected applicants for the given posts will get a monthly salary of Rs.37400 to Rs.67000 + (G.P. 8900).

Mode of Selection for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicant’s selection will be based on Screening Tests/ Preliminary exams and Personality Tests (Computer-based tests/ Offline Tests). No T.A. / D.A. will be paid to the candidates appearing for document verification. The details of the exam are listed below:

For Paper- I-

A 01 hour computer-based or offline screening test consisting of 50 questions worth 100 points as follows-

• General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh = 30 Marks
• General knowledge of National and International Affairs= 30 Marks
• Knowledge of the Hindi language = 20 Marks
• Knowledge of the English language = 20 Marks

For Paper-II-

• A descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of 03 hours duration and 120 marks, as determined by the Commission from time to time.

Application Fee for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Referring to the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the applicants must pay an application fee of up to Rs.400. The application fee will be paid online using a debit/credit card, a UPI, or any online digital channel. Once paid, the examination fee cannot be refunded.

Based on the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, skilled and interested applicants may fill up an Online Recruitment Application (ORA) available on the official website of HPPSC on or before the closing date. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and will be rejected straightway.
