The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is inviting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Mining Inspector Class-III. There are 08 vacancies available for the assigned post, as per the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023.

Educational Qualification for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have a passed 10+2 in science from a recognised board.

Desirable Qualification-

• The candidate should have knowledge of the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and be suitable for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.
• The candidate should have 2 years of practical experience in the line from a government, semi-government organization, or registered mining contractor.

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary on Pay Band Level 6 (Rs. 25600 to Rs. 81200).

According to the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2023, the candidate should have to deposit an application fee of Rs. 400 for male candidates of General, Physically Disabled, EWS, WFF, and General-Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh. The application fee will be paid online through debit, credit card, UPI, or any other online digital mode. The examination fee, once paid, will not be refunded.

Selection Process for HPPSC Recruitment 2023:

The method of selection is based on the screening/preliminary exam and document verification, as indicated in the official notification for HPPSC Recruitment 2023.

Paper- I-

A 01 hour computer-based or offline screening test consisting of 50 questions worth 100 points as follows-

• General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh = 30 Marks
• General knowledge of National and International Affairs= 30 Marks
• Knowledge of the Hindi language = 20 Marks
• Knowledge of the English language = 20 Marks

Paper-II-

• A Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of 02 hours duration and 100 points, as determined by the Commission from time to time.
