HPPSC Recruitment 2024: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is inviting online applications to fill 1088 vacancies of Constable posts in various departments. There are a total of 1088 Constable posts, out of these 708 vacancies are to be filled for Constable (Male) for specialized duties in the Pay Band Level-3 (Rs. 20200 – 64000) and 380 Vacancies will be filled for Constable (Female) for specialized duties in the Pay Band Level-3 (Rs. 20200- 64000) in Himachal Pradesh Police Department under HPPSC constable Rules,2024. The Application fee for male candidates of General/EWS (not included in BPL category), Wards of Freedom Fighter categories (WFF) /Home Guard of HP/Candidate of Other States is ₹600, Male candidates of SC/ST/OBC and EWS covered under UR – BPL categories of Himachal Pradesh will have to pay ₹150. The payment should be done online by Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI/ any other online digital mode. Female candidates shall be exempted from the examination fee in accordance with the instructions of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
The selection process comprises of physical test, written test, evaluation & document verification, and medical examination. The Age criteria for male and female candidates should be between 18 to 29 years (see below). A candidate should pass Matriculation and +2 from any Institution/School/ Board situated within Himachal Pradesh.
