• The candidate should have a 10+2 or its equivalent examination from Board/University recognized by the Central/State Government.
• The candidate should have a Degree in Homoeopathy of 5½ years duration from a recognized university/Board established by law or institution recognized by the Central/State Govt. mentioned in 2nd or 3rd schedule of Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
• The candidate should be registered with the Central Homoeopathy Council/Homoeopathy Council of Himachal Pradesh.

• Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.

Age Limit for HPPSC Recruitment 2024:

• The lower age limit should be 18 years and the upper age limit should be 45 years.

Selection Process for HPPSC Recruitment 2024:

As indicated in the official notification of HPPSC Recruitment 2024, the method of selection is based on the Screering /Preliminary Exam and Personality Test.

The details are mentioned below:

Paper- I-

A 1-hour computer-based or offline screening test has 100 points as follows:

• General knowledge of Himachal Pradesh –30 marks
• General knowledge of National and International Affairs- 30 Marks
• Knowledge of the Hindi language: 20 Marks
• Knowledge of the English language -20 Marks

Paper-II-

• A Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (objective type) of 03 hours duration and 120 marks, as determined by the Commission from time to time.
