Age Limit for HSSC Recruitment 2023:

Qualification for HSSC Recruitment 2023:

Candidates to apply for HSSC Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications-

• The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective or Honours subject and as a Punjabi teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D.Ed. (Diploma in Education)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). OR
• The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective or Honours subject and Punjabi as a teaching subject in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)/ B.Ed. (Special Education) in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
• The applicant must possess four years of Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in Punjabi subjects. OR
• The applicant must possess four years of integrated BA.B.Ed. with at least 50% marks in Punjabi subjects.
• The applicant must have a certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in Punjabi subject. And
• The applicant must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Hindi as one of the subjects in Higher Education.

Selection Process for HSSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of HSSC Recruitment 2023, the written examination will be used to make the selection. The syllabus and exam format will be released later, with details available on the official website.
The selection scheme for the positions will consist of a total of 100 marks, as outlined below-

Written Examination-

• All questions are compulsory.
• The question paper shall be Bilingual (English and Hindi).
• An Offline (OMR-based) written examination will be held for recruitment to the TGT posts.
• There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
• The total number of questions will be 100 with a weightage of 0.95 marks for each question.
• At least one of the five options for each question shall be filled necessarily.
• Five Minutes extra shall be given to mark the fifth option if the candidate does not know the answer.
• The total time allowed for the paper will be (100+5) =105 minutes including these five minutes.
• In case a candidate doesn’t mark any of the five options for a question then 0.95 marks for each un-attempted question shall be deducted.

Socio-Economic Weightage-

• A 5% weightage for socioeconomic criterion will be given to eligible candidates who have declared it in their application form and meet the various socioeconomic criteria listed below-
• An applicant shall be entitled to 5% weightage provided that- neither he himself nor any person from amongst the applicant’s family is/was or has been a regular employee in any Department/ Board/ Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Haryana Government or any other State Govt. or Govt. of India. And
• The gross annual income of the family from all sources i.e., salary, agriculture, business, profession etc. for the financial year prior to the year of application should be less than one lakh eighty thousand rupees only.

Application Fee for HSSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of HSSC Recruitment 2023, the male and female applicants must pay an application fee of Rs. 150, while female applicants who reside in Haryana must pay Rs. 75. The Haryana State SC/ST/EWS male candidates must pay Rs. 35, and the SC/ST/EWS female candidates must pay Rs. 18. PwD and ex-servicemen from Haryana will not be charged.
