Post Name and Vacancies for IB Recruitment 2024:

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is seeking applicants for the job of Accounts Officer and Accountant on a deputation/ promotion basis. According to the official IB Recruitment 2024 notification, there are 06 openings for the designated post.

Qualification for IB Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of IB Recruitment 2024, the candidate must have the following qualifications.

Accounts Officer

• Applicant must have pass in Subordinate Accounts Service or Section Officers Grade or Junior Accounts
  Officer Grade examination conducted by the Central Government. OR
• Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

Accountant

• Applicant must have passed in Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by the
  organized Accounts department of the Central Government.
• Training in Cash and Accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management and three years’ experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

Age Limit for IB Recruitment 2024:

The official IB Recruitment 2024 notification states that the assigned position’s upper age limit cannot exceed 56 years of age.

Eligibility for IB Recruitment 2024:

Candidates applying for the IB Recruitment 2024 must have the following  eligibility.

Accounts Officer

Selected Officers under the Central Government: –

• must hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or
• with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent (Lvl 6 as per 7th CPC) in the parent cadre/department.

Accountant

• must hold analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or
• with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of Rs. 2800/ (Lvl 5 as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department: or
• with ten years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the post in the Grade pay of Rs. 2400/- (Lvl 4 as per 7th CPC)or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

Tenure for IB Recruitment 2024:

The appointee’s tenure will be for three years, with the possibility of an additional two years, maximum.

Salary for IB Recruitment 2024:

In line with the official IB Recruitment 2024 notification, the salary for the assigned position is mentioned below.

• For the Accounts Officer, the applicant will get a pay scale in the Pay Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600 (Level 7 of the pay matrix Rs. 44,900-1,42,400 as per 7th CPC).
• For Accountants, the applicant will get a pay scale in the in the Pay Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200 (Level 6 of the pay matrix Rs. 35,400-1,12,400 as per 7th CPC).
