ICMR Recruitment 2023: The National Institute of Traditional Medicine, a subsidiary of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), intends to fill up the vacant post of Lab Attendant-1 under Technical Cadre. According to the ICMR Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates will be employed for one (01) available vacancy that is Unreserved. The shortlisted applicants would be granted a monthly salary on the pay scale Level 1 in the Pay Matrix ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.56,900. Pay and other benefits are permitted under ICMR regulations. The hiring will be made on probation terms. The period of probation will last two years from the date of engagement. Other probationary terms and conditions shall be governed by the guidelines published by the ICMR/GoI from time to time. Candidates must have a 10th-grade diploma with a minimum of 50% in aggregate from a recognized board, as well as one year of work experience in a Govt. recognized/authorised /registered lab or ITI in their respective field or trade certificate provided by government agencies.

Applicants working consistently in ICMR projects are also eligible for age relaxation of up to 5 years. The application must be submitted no later than 20 September 2023, at 5.30 p.m. The Selection for the post of Lab Attendant -1 will be through CBT (Computer Based Test). The date, time, and location of the CBT (Computer Based Test) will be given to the shortlisted applicants via call letters / admit cards, and no inquiries/requests will be accepted in this respect. Shortlisted applicants will not be paid TA/DA to attend the CBT (Computer Based Test), and they must make their own arrangements.
