For Scientist D (Medical) –

• The upper age limit should be 45 years.

For Field Investigator-

• The candidate will be appointed for a period of 01 year.

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

For Scientist D (Medical) –

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.78000.

For Field Investigator-

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.32000.

Required Qualifications for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the qualifications required for the mentioned post are given below:

For Scientist D (Medical)-

• Candidates should have Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MPH) after MBBS with 6 years research experience in the relevant field; OR
• The candidate should have MBBS Degree with 8 years’ experience or Post
• The candidate should have Graduate Diploma in Medical subjects after MBBS with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field; OR
• The candidate should have Ph.D. in the relevant subjects (Community Medicine / Preventive & Social Medicine/ Paediatrics / Medicine/ Tropical Medicine/ Community Health Administration / Health Administration / Family Medicine/ Epidemiology/ Public Health) from a recognised University with 5 years’ experience in the relevant field PLUS 2 Years’ experience in the management of R&D projects in a team effectively.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have Additional Postdoctoral research /teaching experience in health technology assessment in recognized institute(s).
• The candidate should have Knowledge of economic modelling, working in Excel, Computer Applications / Data Management.

For Field Investigator-

• The candidate should have Graduate in science from a recognised university with 3 years’ work experience from a recognised institution in public health sector .OR
• The candidate should have Master’s degree in demography/economics/public health/statistics from a recognised institution.

Desirable –

• The candidate should have Good knowledge about public health system, communication skills and computer operations.

Selection Process for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification for ICMR Recruitment 2024, the candidate will be selected on the basis of  online/Physical interview. No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or joining the post. Candidates will be called to attend online/Physical interview on the Webex video call app at scheduled date and time.
