The required qualifications of the candidates are Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering from AICTE recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for General and OBC candidates and 55% in case of SC/ST candidates and B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Math) from UGC recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate for General and OBC candidates and 50% in case of SC/ST candidates. The boiler attendant proficiency certificate must be in accordance with the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950.
