Based on the official notification of IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be appointed for 3 years. The performance of the selected or appointed staff member shall be assessed before the expiry of the contract and only those found suitable will be offered a substantive post after the completion of 3 years of service on the contract.
According to the official notification of IIT Bombay Recruitment 2023, the selection process comprises a written test from which a shortlist [a certain number of advertised positions] shall be drawn from the list of qualified candidates in order of merit. The final selection shall be as per the shortlist drawn based on the written test only. To be eligible for recruitment, a candidate is required to obtain 60% marks or more (55% marks or more for SC and ST candidates) in the written test.
