IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, invites eligible candidates to enrol for the post of JRF (GATE/JAM), Sr. Project Technician, and Lab Assistant through Online Interview Selection Procedure. As per the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 official notification, the hiring will be made for four (04) vacancies. Candidates shortlisted for the available employment will be granted maximum remuneration of Rs.40,000. The eligible candidates will be hired for a term of 11 months, which can be extended up to the complete duration of the project based on performance. The age range of eligible candidates will be determined based on the selection terms. The candidates willing to be hired for JRF (GATE/ JAM) post should have a Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Mathematical Science/ Mechanical Engineering).
As per the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates interested in the JRF (GATE/ JAM) post must send an application/CV including all educational credentials, experience, contact address, phone number, E-mail address, and so on to Dr Pranab Kumar Mondal by e-mail ([email protected]) on or before August 15, 2023, at 6 p.m. Candidates interested in Sr. Project Technician and Lab Assistant posts, on the other hand, are asked to apply via a link provided in the official announcement on or before 18.08.2023. Only those who have been shortlisted based on their document assessment will be invited to the interview. The interview will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email to attend an online interview via the Google Meet Link. The candidate’s final selection will be based on their academic and professional past events, as well as their performance in the interview.

As per the IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidate will be recruited based on the following eligibilities.
For JRF (GATE/ JAM)
Applicants should have a Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Mathematical Science/ Mechanical Engineering). He/she should have knowledge of Fluid Mechanics and Mathematical modelling/simulation of Fluid-structure interaction.
For Sr. Project Technician
The candidates should have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Plastic Technology with a 1st Class or equivalent grade of minimum 60% percentage.
For Lab Assistant
Candidates should have a Master’s (M.E./M.Tech) in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/IT or equivalent with a 1st Class or equivalent grade of 60% percentage.
