IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati is looking for interested and engrossed candidates for the post of Project Engineer and Project Officer for the project “Online Degree Programmes of IIT Guwahati“. As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, there are 03 vacancies for the mentioned positions. The candidates applying for the mentioned position should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate field. The educational qualification is different for each post (mentioned below).
According to the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview conducted by the committee. The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.65500 and 69500 according to the posts mentioned below. The selected candidates will also get HRA as admissible by the committee. The selected candidates will be appointed for a duration of 11 months. As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, interested and well-qualified candidates can directly appear for the walk-in interview conducted by the committee. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the test and interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately.

As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the candidates selected for the post of Project Engineer will get a monthly salary of Rs.47000 – 1850 – 65500 + 18% of basic salary and the candidates selected for the post of Project Officer will get a monthly salary of Rs.49500 – 2000 – 69500 + 18% of basic pay. The candidates will also get a medical facility as per IITG Project staff norms.

As shown in the official notification of IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the interviews conducted by the committee. The candidates who are already employed under Central/ State Government/ PSU/ Autonomous Bodies/ Private Organizations, etc. will have to submit a No-objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned employer in advance or at the time of the interview failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for an interview.
