Project Duration: 03-Years or up to termination of the Project, subject to Annual Performance Review.

The Eligibility comprising the Educational Qualification for IIT (Ropar) Junior Research Fellow is as follows:
Educational Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree M.Sc. (Chemistry/Biochemistry); M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Sciences); M.Tech (Materials) or any Equivalent Degree with Minimum 60% Aggregate Score. Relaxation of 05% for Reserved Community Candidates.
Desirable: In In addition, the Candidate must have qualified the CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GPAT/GATE/BET.
Selection for Junior Research Fellow Post shall be carried out through Interview. Shortlisted Candidates will be called in for Online Interview. Appropriately Suitable Candidate selected on Junior Research Fellow Post would is issued Appointment for Engagement for 03 Years or up to Completion of the Project.
Note: The Candidate selected on the Junior Research Post will have the option to register for Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Program in the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. However, for Admission into the Doctor Philosophiae (Ph.D.) Program in the IIT Ropar, the Candidate must satisfy the Eligibility requirements and also qualify the Written Examination and/or Interview.
