IITM Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), seeks applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Research Fellowships under the Research Fellow Program (MRFP). According to the IITM Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 29 vacant positions, which may vary based on ministry regulations. The shortlisted candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.31,000. The maximum age limit of candidates interested in this post should be 28 years as on 26th June 2023.
According to the IITM Recruitment 2023 official notification, the applicants will be appointed for 4 years duration terms. Applications along with supporting documents will be received in online mode only. There will be no hard copies accepted. Applicants are requested to obtain an online Application ID after completing the application, which should be properly saved for future reference and discussion. It is compulsory for candidates to mention their Active and valid Email ID and Mobile Number in the applicant. Candidates must register the following demanded documents in JPG format: SSC/10th/Matriculation Certificate, Graduates Degree Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), PwBD Certificate (if applicable), and Brief Resume on or before 26th June 2023. The final selection will be done only based on the marks obtained in the Interview.

According to the official notification of IITM Recruitment 2023, the candidates must have the following eligibilities.
For CMLRE – MRFP (Marine Taxonomy and Systematics)
The candidates should have a degree in M.Sc. Marine Biology/Marine Sciences/ Fisheries Sciences. He/she should have Knowledge of marine fish/ crustacean taxonomy and systematics.
For BGRL – MRFP (Borehole Geophysics)
The candidates should have M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech.) in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics with adequate experience in data acquisition/ analyses in Borehole Geophysics or Seismology.
For NCPOR – MRFP (Global Ocean Sea)
The applicants should have M.Sc. in Physics / Atmospheric Science. He/she should have knowledge of the general circulation of the Atmosphere/ Dynamic Meteorology.

According to the official notification of IITM Recruitment 2023, candidates interested in this position should be at least 28 years old as of June 26, 2023. The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years for SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD), Women candidates, 03 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates, and as per rule for ex-servicemen.
