For Marine Taxonomy and Systematics- M.Sc. Marine Biology/Marine Sciences/ Fisheries Sciences.
For Borehole Geophysics / Seismology under the programme “Scientific Deep Drilling in the Koyna Intraplate Zone, Maharashtra”- M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech.) in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Seismology (with Solid Earth Geophysics as major).
For Global ocean seaice coupled model study- M.Sc. in Physics / Atmospheric Science/Physical Oceanography/ Mathematics/ Earth Sciences (with Meteorology as major)/Climate Sciences OR M.Tech. in Atmospheric/ Ocean Sciences.
For Monitoring and Modelling of Coastal Ecosystems- Master’s Degree in Oceanography / Marine Science / Environmental Sciences.
