Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023: Income Tax Department is looking for candidates for the post of Meritorious Sportsperson in various departments. As per the Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 20 vacancies. The selected candidate will have to serve a probation period of 2 years which will be extended as per the Government of India’s instruction.

As per the Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the minimum age limit will be 18 years and the maximum age limit will be 30 years as of 17.03.2023 and the monthly salary will be between Rs.18000 to Rs. 81100 as per the 7th CPC pay level. Desirous candidate can send their applications through speed post before the deadline. The last date to apply is 17 March 2023.

Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University or equivalent.

Tax Assistant

(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) Data Entry Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.

Multi-Tasking Staff

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University/Board.

Salary for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023:

Post-wise salaries are mentioned below.

For Income Tax Inspector – Pay Level-7 (Rs.44900- 142400)
For Tax Assistant – Pay Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100)
For Multi-Tasking Staff – Pay Level-1 (Rs.18000-56900)

Age limit for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023:

Income Tax Inspector – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 30 years.

Multi-Tasking Staff – The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 25 years.

Age Relaxation:

05 years for General/OBC candidates & 10 years for a case of SC/ST candidates.

Selection Procedure for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2023:

The selection procedure for the Meritorious Sportsperson posts will be in 2 Phases.

In the first phase, all the candidates will be ranked, as per their option for the post applied for, based on their achievements in sports. And in that field trials will be conducted and performance will be counted for ranking purposes.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test in the second phase.
