Age Limit for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Income Tax recruitment 2023, the age limit as given below-

• The minimum age limit for the post of Inspector of Income Tax is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.
• The minimum age limit for the post of Tax Assistant is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years.
• The minimum age limit for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years.

Qualification and Experience for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

For Inspector of Income Tax-

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Tax Assistant

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
• Having a Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions per hour.

For Multi-Tasking Staff

• Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Salary for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

Selected candidates will get a monthly salary as mentioned below-

• The selected candidates for the post of Inspector of Income Tax will get a monthly salary in the Pay Level-7 of Pay Matrix (pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800).
• The selected candidates for the post of Tax Assistant will get a monthly salary in the Pay Level-4 of Pay Matrix (pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- in PB-I of Rs.5200-20200).
• The selected candidates for the post of Multi-Tasking Staff will get a monthly salary in the Pay Level-1 of Pay Matrix (pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in PB-I of Rs.5200-20200).

Tenure for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Income Tax recruitment 2023, the appointments are temporary but likely to be permanent. Candidates will be engaged for a period of 02 years. The place of posting will be UP (West) and Uttarakhand Region, Kanpur.

Selection Process for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Income Tax recruitment 2023, applications should be scrutinized, and eligible candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of the evaluation of their performances in the last 03 years, age and highest achievement in their career in respective sports events.

All the eligible candidates shall be called to appear before the Committee for verification of the relevant original documents submitted by them along with their applications. Only those documents whose copies are already submitted with the applications by the concerned applicant with proper attestation shall be taken into consideration by the Committee.

Candidates will be selected for the post of Tax Assistant, the candidates should also be required to qualify for the Data Entry Speed Test, in consonance with the provisions of the relevant Recruitment Rules.

Incomplete applications will be not considered.

The last date to submit the application form is 30 days after the publication of the advertisement. No application will be accepted after the closing date.
