Based upon the India Post Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, post-Selection Candidate shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary in the Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission explained hereunder:

The Upper Age Limits in accordance with the India Post Recruitment 2023 Official Notification as on 01.07.2023 for the Un-Reserved Category Candidates is as follows:
General Merit Candidate: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 30 Years according to the Instructions/Orders issued by the Central Government.
As per the India Post Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Standard Eligibility Criteria including Educational and Other Qualifications for Direct Recruitment are as follows:
i) A Certificate in respective Trade from any Technical Institution duly recognized by the Government of India; OR 7th Standard Standard Passed out with 01-Year’s Experience in respective Trade.
ii) The Applicant for Motor Vehicle Mechanic should have in possession a Valid Driving Licence for Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) to drive/operate any Vehicle Service in order to test it.
The Selection Methodology for the Skilled Artisan (Motor Vehicle Mechanic) Post shall be conducted for amongst the Candidates having gained the Prescribed Requisite Qualifications by means of a Competitive Trade Test on the basis of the Syllabus in Respective Trade enclosed as Annexure I.
The Eligible Shortlisted Candidates will be informed of the Date, Venue, Duration, etc. with the Hall Permits.
Based on the India Post Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Desirous General Category Candidate should pay the Requisite Fee as follows:
Required Fee: Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred) only in the shape of an Indian Postal Order
Examination Fee: Rs.400 (Rupees Four Hundred) only towards Examination Fee (For Trade Test) in the shape of an Indian Postal Order.
