Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023:Indian Air Force is looking for eligible male Indian/Gorkha (A subject of Nepal) candidates from States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand for the post of Airmen in the Group ‘Y’, Medical Assistant trade. As stated in the official notification Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, candidates must be unmarried and born between 26.12.2002 and 26.12.2006 for Medical Assistant trade, and unmarried candidates must be born between 26.12.1999 and 26.12.2004 (both dates inclusive) for Medical Assistant trade (with Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy) and married candidates must be born between December 26, 1999 and December 26, 2002 (both dates inclusive). The selected candidates will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.14600 during training period and after the completion of training period candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs.26900 including Military Service Pay (MSP) and DA.
As given in the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 20 years which may be extended up to the age of 57 years (subject to service conditions). Candidates will be chosen based on a written exam, a physical fitness test, an adaptability test-II, and medical appointments. Candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test will be required to take the Written Test the following day, and candidates who pass the Written Test will be required to take the Adaptability Test-II the following day, depending on the local conditions. Those who pass the Adaptability Test-II will be medically checked in September 2023 at SMC, Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Paragnas (North), West Bengal /10 Air Force Hospital, Hasimara. In accordance with the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, candidates who are interested and ready can apply online through the official website on or before the deadline. Other modes of application will not be considered.

As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, applications are invited to fill the vacancy for the post of Airmen in the Group ‘Y’, Medical Assistant trade.
As given in the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, candidates should be unmarried and born between 26.12.2002 and 26.12.2006 for the Medical Assistant trade and unmarried candidates should be born between 26 Dec 1999 and 26 Dec 2004 (both dates inclusive) for Medical Assistant trade (with Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy). Married candidate should be born between 26 Dec 1999 and 26 Dec 2002 (both dates inclusive) for Medical Assistant trade (with Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy).
Salary for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023:
In accordance with the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly stipend of Rs.14600 during the training period and after the completion of the training period, candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs.26900 including Military Service Pay (MSP) and DA.
Required Domicile for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023:
As stated in the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the required domicile to appear in the recruitment rally at Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal is listed below-
The college/institute from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical/administrative limits of districts in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. If the name of the State/District is not mentioned with the name of the Institution in the certificate/marks sheet of the qualifying examination, the candidates shall produce a ‘Domicile Certificate’ issued by any Gazetted Officer in the Revenue Department or any other official authorized by the State Government of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.
Permanent Domicile of the districts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand who has passed the qualifying examination from anywhere in India shall produce the Domicile Certificate prior to commencement of examination from appropriate authority.
Sons of serving Air Force personnel [Officer/Airmen/NCs(E) and Unit cadre Civilians paid from Defence Estimates] whose father/ mother is presently serving in any Air Force Unit/any other Organisation located in the districts of State of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand irrespective of their domicile status, shall be permitted to appear in the rally subject to production of latest SOAFP (Son of Air Force Personnel) Certificate.
Sons of Air Force personnel [Officers/Airmen/NCs(E) and Unit Cadre Civilians paid from Defence Estimates] whose father/mother is Retired/Discharged/ Deceased and they are residing in the districts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand shall be permitted to appear in the rally subject to production of proof of minimum stay of one year along with original and photocopy of Service Book/Discharge Book/Casualty Service Certificate/Service Particular Certificate (issued from DPO-3/DAV, as applicable) in case of Officers/Airmen/NCs(E) and a Certificate duly signed by OIC Civil Admin and countersigned by CO/C Adm O of the last served unit, in case of Civilians.
Qualification for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023:
According to the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the required qualification is given below-
Candidate should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and with 50% marks in English. OR
Candidates should have passed 02 years of vocational courses with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, a Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment will be a mandatory requirement.

Selection Process for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023:
As given in the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test, Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Test-II and Medical Appointments. Candidates who qualify Physical Fitness Test will undertake Written Test on the same day and candidates who pass the Written Test will be required to take the Adaptability Test-II on the same or the next day, depending on the local conditions. The purpose of the Adaptability Test-II is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and acclimatize to the Military way of life. Candidates who qualify for Adaptability Test-II shall be medically examined in the month of Sep 2023 at SMC, Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal /10 Air Force Hospital, Hasimara. Writing Material and Documents Required for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023:
As per the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2023, the require written material and documents are listed below-
HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Glue Stick, Stapler and Black and Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
Ten un-attested recent (not taken before six months) passport-size colour photographs (front portrait in light background without head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with the candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.
Original and four self-attested photocopies of matriculation passing certificate (required for Date of Birth verification).
Original and four self-attested photocopies of 10+2/Intermediate/XII or equivalent examination passing certificate and mark sheet.
Original and four self-attested photocopies of passing certificate and mark sheet of B.Sc/Diploma in Pharmacy, if applicable.
Original and four self-attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate (or) Original and four self-attested photocopies of duly filled Son of Air Force
Personnel (SOAFP) Certificate (format available on AFNET CASB webpage) for Sons of Serving Air Force Personnel (or) Original and four self-attested photocopies of Service Book/Discharge Book/Casualty Service Certificate/Service Particular certificate (issued from DPO-3/DAV, as applicable) in case of Officer/Airmen/NCs(E) and a certificate duly signed by OIC Civil Admin and countersigned by CO/C Adm O of the last served unit, in case of civilians for sons of retired/deceased/discharged Air Force personnel and proof of minimum stay of one year.
NOC in original and four self-attested photocopies from the employer for candidates presently serving in any government organization (if applicable).
Original and four self-attested photocopies of NCC ‘A’, ‘B’, or ‘C’ certificates (if applicable).
Candidates discharged from Indian Army/Indian Navy/Any other Government Organisation. Original and four Self-attested photocopies of the Discharge Certificate (as issued from the Indian Army/Indian Navy/Government Organisation).
