Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023: The Indian Coast Guard is inviting online applications from young and dynamic candidates for Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik posts. Only male Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the above posts. Based on the official notification for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 350 vacancies available for the above posts. The number of vacancies available for the Navik (General Duty) post is 260 while the number of vacancies available for the Navik (Domestic Branch) is 30. There are 60 vacancies available for the Yantrik post. The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 22 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates, as stated in the official notification for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023.
In accordance with the official notification for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will receive a monthly salary as per pay level 3 (basic pay of Rs 21,700) and pay level 5 (Rs 29,200). Eligible and suitable candidates will be selected based on a merit list after the four-stage selection process. Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 300. As stated in the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 official notification, the lower age limit to apply is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 22 years. Candidates should be born on or after 01 May 2002 and born on or before 30 April 2006. The upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates and 05 years for SC/ST candidates.
Based on the official notification for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, eligible candidates must hold the following qualifications:
Navik (General Duty)
Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized education board
Navik (Domestic Branch)
Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized education board
Yantrik
Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognized education board and obtained a Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years from a recognized university/institute
OR
Candidates must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognized education board and obtained a Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years from a recognized university/institute
