Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023: The Indian Coast Guard is inviting interested applicants to fill up the posts of General Duty (GD), Technical in (Mechanical), Technical in (Electrical/Electronics) and Law Entry. As mentioned in the Official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the minimum age requirement for the aforesaid positions is 21 years, and the maximum age requirement for General Duty (GD), Technical (Mechanical), and Technical (Electrical/Electronics) posts is 25 years, and the maximum age requirement for Law Entry is 30 years.

As per the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, applicants must pay an examination cost of Rs.250 online via net banking or Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay / Credit/Debit Card/UPI, whereas SC/ST applicants are exempt from payment of fee. According to the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the chosen candidate will be paid at Pay Level 10 under the 7th CPC. Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the minimum age requirement for the aforesaid positions is 21 years, and the maximum age requirement for General Duty (GD), Technical (Mechanical), and Technical (Electrical/Electronics) posts is 25 years, and the maximum age requirement for Law Entry is 30 years.

Qualification for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

General Duty (GD)

  • Candidate should hold a degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
  • Mathematics and Physics as subjects upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after the diploma, are also eligible, provided they possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. Technical (Mechanical) Technical (Electrical/Electronics).

Technical (Mechanical)

  • Candidate should hold an Engineering degree from a recognised university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
    OR
  • Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section “A” and “B” and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
  • Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

Technical (Electrical/ Electronics)

  • Candidate should hold an Engineering degree from a recognised university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
    OR
  • Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the
    Engineers (India) as exempted from sections “A” and “B” and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
  • Mathematics and Physics as subjects upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics. The candidates who have completed graduation after the diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in the diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

Law Entry
A degree in Law from a recognized university with a minimum 60% aggregate marks

Examination Fee for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, aspirants must pay an Rs.250 examination fee online by net banking or Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay / Credit/Debit Card/UPI, however SC/ST aspirants are excused from paying the price.
