• Candidates must have experience in the operation and maintenance of materials processing, characterization and testing.

Desriable:

• Candidates must have experience in operation and maintenance of various furnaces, such as induction melting furnaces, arc-melting furnaces, spark plasma sintering furnaces, hot presses, heat treatment furnaces, etc.
• Electron microscopes (SEM/TEM) and thermal analysis equipment such as DSC, DTA, TGA, etc.
• Sample preparation, Polishing, metallography work, cutting tools, EDM wire cutting, etc.
• Material Testing equipment such as Universal Testing Machine, Hardness, Impact Tester, Creep, Nano-Indenter, Rolling, Forging, extrusion, etc.
• Foundry/metal casting/molding, etc., and/or XRD/AFM/UV/sputtering/pulse laser deposition, etc.
