IOCL Recruitment 2023: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Graduate Apprentice Engineers (Engineers/Officers) for Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2023 from any one of the disciplines mentioned above. As per the IOCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs. 50000.
Candidates should have a B.Tech./BE /Equivalent obtained as a Full-time Regular course from Institutions/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC in their respective disciplines. Candidates who are currently pursuing or have already completed their bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in a combined, integrated, or cross-disciplinary subject, such as robotics or mechatronics, will not be eligible. As per the IOCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the above-mentioned job post should be below the age of 26 years. Age relaxation for all categories will be applied as per the government guidelines. Candidates will be selected through Marks in GATE 2023 exam, Personal Interview (PI), Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT). Candidates should have a B.Tech./BE /Equivalent obtained as a Full-time Regular course from Institutions/ Colleges/ Universities/ Deemed Universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC in their respective disciplines.
Candidates who are currently pursuing or have already completed their bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in a combined, integrated, or cross-disciplinary subject, such as robotics or mechatronics, will not be eligible. Candidates from disciplines other than those listed above who have a qualifying degree are ineligible to apply. In cases where there are other engineering disciplines outside those listed above, the Corporation has the right to make a final determination about whether or not they are eligible. Candidates who have successfully completed a B.Tech./BE in one of the aforementioned fields and are currently pursuing an M.Tech. as part of an integrated course or dual degree program for BE/B. Tech programs are also eligible to apply. If chosen by Indian Oil, such candidates must hold both a BE/B. Tech and a ME/M. Tech degree by September 30, 2023. Candidates who are currently pursuing studies in their qualifying degree’s final year or semester are also eligible to apply, provided they receive at least the aforementioned proportion of points out of the total points earned across all declared semesters. If chosen, they would only be permitted to join if, in addition to meeting all other eligibility requirements, their cumulative percentage of marks in the qualifying examination was equal to or higher than the minimum percentage of marks specified above. Such candidates should also be able to turn in their final grade sheets by September 30, 2023.

In addition, the selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances, according to the rules of the Corporation in force, and as amended from time to time. Other allowances /benefits include HRA/subsidized housing accommodation (depending upon the place of posting), medical facilities, gratuity, contributory provident fund, employees’ pension scheme, group personal accident insurance scheme, leave encashment, leave travel concession (LTC)/ LFA, contributory superannuation benefit fund scheme, conveyance advance/ maintenance reimbursement, performance related pay (PRP) etc. as per rules of the corporation.
As per the IOCL Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be selected through Marks in GATE 2023 exam, Personal Interview (PI), Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT). Shortlisting eligible candidates for further selection process shall comprise GD, GT and PI and shortlisting shall be done category-wise in descending order of their marks obtained in the GATE 2023 examination for the respective discipline. Merely qualifying in GATE 2023 examination does not guarantee to short-list for GD, GT and Personal Interviews.
