IRCTC Recruitment 2023: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC), East Zone, Kolkata invites applications from suitable candidates for engagement as Consultant (Tourism). As per the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the employment will be made specifically for a retired Sr.Section Engineer in Mechanical (C&W/ workshop) or Electrical (train lighting/ AC) maintenance in open line/workshop). The hiring will be made for two vacant seats (1 – in Kolkata and 1 – in Guwahati). The maximum age limit of interested candidates is 64 years as of the last date of receipt of applications. Appointed individuals in the available positions will be allowed fixed Remuneration as per the rules of IRCTC. The candidate must be retired from the railways and have Adequate knowledge and expertise in Yard Working LHB Rake Maintenance.
As per the IRCTC Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested individuals who meet the eligibility criteria, are in excellent health and are available to start immediately should submit their application in the required pro forma along with the necessary documentation. Applications in support of the required qualifications should be submitted in a sealed cover labeled “Engagement of Consultant- Tourism on a temporary basis in IRCTC/EZ” and delivered to the Group General Manager, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd, 3, Ground Floor, Koilaghat Street, Kolkata, on or before 21.08.2023 (4:00 pm). The shortlisted candidates will be informed via email to attend an interview, the dates of which will be announced in due course. The candidates must be retired from the railways and have Adequate knowledge and expertise in Yard Working LHB Rake Maintenance. He/she should have Knowledge of Indian Railways’ Maintenance, Operational, and Accident norms and policies. Candidates having work experience on ER/SER & NFR, particularly Howrah, Sealdah Division & Santragachi, would be given preference, since the rakes are based at HWH/SDAH/SRC & GHY for improved local co-ordination.
