For Tradesman Trainee(ITI) Fitter / Electrician-

• The candidate should have ITI / NAC in Fitter / Electrician.
• Two years experience in the relevant Trade/ Discipline in a reputed Industrial Establishment including on-the-job training and Apprenticeship training, if any.

For Electrician Trade- A valid statutory license is essential.

For Tradesman Trainee (ITI) Attendant Operator Chemical Plant-

• The candidate should have ITI/NAC in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) or
• The candidate should have +(plus) 2 Science (Intermediate/Higher Secondary) with Chemistry as one of the subjects and 50% marks in aggregate.
• The candidate should have 02 years of experience in the operation of the Chemical and allied Process Industry including apprenticeship training, if any.

Mode of Selection for IREL Recruitment 2024 :

The mode of selection for IREL Recruitment 2024 will be based on a Written Test, Skill Test / Trade Test, and Psychometric Test. The written test will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The written examination will be held for a duration of 1.5 Hours consisting of two Papers. Paper-I will consist of 50 Objective-type questions on Professional Knowledge (Discipline) and Paper-II will consist of 50 Objective-type questions on General Knowledge/Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical ability, and General English with multiple choice answers in each Paper.
