ISRO Recruitment 2023: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is inviting applications in online mode from dynamic, eligible, and experienced candidates to fill up Polymer Science and Engineering/Rubber Technology, Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and M.Sc. Agriculture (Horticulture/Forestry) posts. There are a total of 10 vacancies available for the aforementioned positions. As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the minimum and maximum age limits for the posts of Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and M.Sc. Agriculture (Horticulture/Forestry) are 18 and 28 years old, respectively, and for the posts of Polymer Science and Engineering/Rubber Technology,  are  18 and 30 years old, respectively.

As given in the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the selection is based on a written test and interview. As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, each application is subject to a Rs. 250 non-refundable application fee. However, all candidates must pay a processing charge of Rs. 750 for each application at the outset, whereas women, SC/ST, and PWBD/Ex-servicemen are exempt from paying the application charge. Willing and eligible candidates may fill out the application form through the official website on or before the last date. The opening date of the online application is October 14, 2023.

Essential Qualifications for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, candidates should have the following essential qualifications for the post:

For Polymer Science and Engineering/Rubber Technology:

  • Candidates should have an M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent postgraduate degree in polymer science and engineering/rubber technology with an aggregate minimum of 60% or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale and a pre-eligibility qualification of B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent qualification in chemical engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10-point scale. Minimum 65% marks or a CGPA of 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE

For Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering:

  • Candidates should have a B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10-point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

For M.Sc. Agriculture (Horticulture/Forestry):

  • Candidates should have an M.Sc. or equivalent Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture with a specialisation in Horticulture/Forestry with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10-point scale with a pre-eligibility qualification of B.Sc. Agriculture with a specialisation in Horticulture/Forestry with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.

Age Limit for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the age limit for the mentioned posts upto 30 years old.

Salary for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, selected candidates will get Rs. 79,662/- per month (basic pay + DA), HRA and transport allowance as per the government of India orders for all posts.

Application Fee for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

In the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the candidates should pay non-refundable application fees of Rs. 250 for each application. However, initially, all candidates have to pay Rs. 750 per application as a processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded to candidates who appear in the written test, as under:

  • Rs. 750/- refund in full for women, SC/ST/PWBD, and ex-servicemen
  • Rs. 500/- refund after deducting the application fees in respect of all other candidates.

Selection Procedure for ISRO Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of ISRO Recruitment 2023, the mode of selection will be a written test and an interview. The written test will be conducted in such a way that theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidates. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview, generally in a 1:5 ratio with a minimum of 10 candidates to the category-wise number of vacancies. For the generation of the final panel, 50% weightage shall be given to written test marks and 50% weightage to interview marks.

A separate application should be submitted for each postal code. Candidates also need to pay the requisite fee separately for each application.
