According to the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification, 81 Vacancies are to be filled up through Direct Recruitment initially on a Temporary Basis explained hereunder:

Monthly Pay under ITBP Recruitment 2023:

As per the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued for Recruitment on Head Constable (Midwife) Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial)/(NG & NM) Posts, the Pay Matrix Scale applicable to the ITBPF Head Constable would be as hereunder:

Pay Scale: Level-4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25500-81100 in the Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission

Upper Age Limits under ITBP Recruitment 2023:

According to the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement for Head Constable (Midwife) the General Merit Candidates should be aged as on 08.07.2023 hereunder:

1) The Un-Reserved Category Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years.

2) Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates is as per the Central Government Rules.

Eligibility for the ITBP Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility including the Physical Standards, etc., is explained in the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the ready reference of the Candidates:

Essential:

Educational Qualification: i) 10th (Secondary School Examination) Passout from any Duly Recognized Board or Equivalent.

ii) Passed Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) Course from any Accredited Institution.

iii) Registered in the Nursing Council of the Central Government/State Government.

Height (Region-wise):

i) Union Territory Regions and States: 157 Cm

ii)  Hilly Regions etc. Candidates: 155 Cm

iii) North-Eastern States Candidates: 152.5 Cm

iv) Scheduled Tribe Candidates hailing from North-Eastern States: 150 Cm

v) Scheduled Tribe Candidates hailing from other than North-Eastern States: 147.5 Cm

Chest: Not Applicable

 Weight: Corresponding/Proportionate to Height and Age as per the Medical Standards applicable to the Man and Woman Genders.

Selection Criteria under ITBP Recruitment 2023:

As per the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Selection Process for Selection on Constable (General Duty) involved shall consist of 03 Stages explained hereunder:

Phase I:  Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test: Qualifying in nature

Note*: Ex-Service-Men Category Candidates shall remain exempted from the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test

Phase II: Written Examination:  The OMR Answer Sheet Based Test with 02 Hours’ Examination Duration with 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Question for 1oo Marks mandating the Candidates to obtain the Minimum Qualifying Marks mentioned in the Appended ITBP Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

Phase III: Documentation (Testimonial/Document Verification), and Practical Test comprising i) Viva-voce (40 Marks), ii) Instrument Identification (30 Marks) and iii) Procedure (30 Marks) V) Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME).

Following the Practical Test, a Final Merit List for Un-Reserved Category Candidates and Reserved Community Candidates shall be drawn up based on the Marks obtained in the Written Test. The Candidates would be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination on the basis of the Merit determined.

Tie-Breaking: In the case of Tie Persisting, the Case would be resolved in the following order:

i) In case of TIE in the Marks obtained in the Written Examination, the Candidate Senior/Elder/Older in Age will be Higher in Merit.

ii) If the Tie still persists, the Candidate, whose Name comes First in the Alphabet Order (English) will be placed Higher in the Merit.
