According to the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Associate, Technical Assistant (Site Coordinator), Medical Social Worker and Staff/Research Nurse on a temporary basis under the INDO-US TB Programme in the Dept. of Preventive and Social Medicine, JIPMER. There are a total of 05 open positions for the aforementioned position.

Age Limitation for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

For Principle Project Associate-

• Essential– Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent and 08 years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Sciences and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
• Desirable– Candidates should have Strong programming skills in SAS, R or a related programming language.

For Technical Assistant (Site Coordinator)-

• Essential– Candidates should have a Master’s in Life Science/MPH from a recognized university. Minimum 2 years experience in National/International research projects. Experience in the field of Tuberculosis research. Survey/Field experience Knowledge of regulatory aspects of clinical research.
• Desirable– The candidate should have experience in the field of tuberculosis research, survey/Field experience and knowledge of regulatory aspects of clinical research.

For Medical Social Worker-

• Essential– Candidates should have a Graduate in science/relevant subjects/ from a recognized university with five years of work experience from a recognized institution or a master’s degree in the relevant subject. Proficiency in speaking and reading Tamil and English.
• Desirable– Candidate should have a master’s in life science/MSW from a recognized university and expertise in working with NTEP programmes.

For Staff/Research Nurse-

• Essential– Candidates should have a Diploma in nursing or midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered nurse or ANM with any state nursing council. Proficiency in speaking, writing and reading Tamil and English.
• Desirable– Candidates should have a B.sc in nursing with experience in TB-related research projects and experience in sample collection and clinical examination.

Salary for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the selected individuals will be paid a monthly salary upto Rs.49000.

• For Principle Project Associate- The selected individual would be paid Rs.49000 per month.
• For Technical Assistant (Site Coordinator)– The selected individual would be paid Rs. 34965 per month.
• For Medical Social Worker– The selected individual would be paid Rs. 43227 per month.
• For Staff/Research Nurse- The selected individual would be paid Rs. 33000 per month.

Mode of Selection for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

As stated in the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the applicants will be chosen based on a written test, followed by an interview. The interview will take place on the 20th and 21st of September 2023 at JIPMER’s Department of Preventive and Social Medicine. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. The decision of the Principal Investigator will be final.
