JIPMER is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the posts of Specialist, General Duty Medical Officer, Child Psychologist, Nursing Officer, X-RAY Technician, Junior Occupational Therapist, Medical Laboratory Technologist, Pharmacist, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Administrative Assistant in Group A, B and C.

Salary for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

The monthly remuneration of candidates selected for JIPMER Recruitment 2023 is given below-

For Specialist–

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 11 of the pay matrix.

For General Duty Medical Officer and Child Psychologist- 

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 10 of the pay matrix.

For Nursing Officer- 

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 7 of the pay matrix.

For X-RAY Technician, Junior Occupational Therapist and Medical Laboratory Technologist- 

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 6 of the pay matrix.

For Pharmacist–

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 5 of the pay matrix.

For Stenographer Grade-II- 

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 4 of the pay matrix.

For Junior Administrative Assistant- 

• The chosen candidate will be given a monthly salary in level 2 of the pay matrix.

Qualification for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

The given below is the qualifications required to apply for JIPMER Recruitment 2023.

For Specialist (Anaesthesiology)-

• The applicant must have recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of education qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
• The applicant must have postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• The applicant must have 03 years of experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying M.D. in Anaesthesiology.

For General Duty Medical Officer-

• The applicant must have Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 [persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act].
• The applicant must have 03 years of experience after one year of compulsory Internship.

For Child Psychologist-

• The applicant must have M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent from a recognized Institute or University. And
• The applicant must have at least 2 years of experience in Child Adolescent Mental Health in a recognized Institute / Hospital.
• The applicant must have Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (Central Rehabilitation Register, CRR).

For X-Ray Technician (Radio-Diagnosis)-

• The applicant must have done B.Sc. in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent (3 years course) from a recognized University or Institution.
• The applicant must have 02 years of experience in operating radio diagnosis equipment in an established Institute / Hospital / Imaging Centre.

Age Limit for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is given below-

For Specialist–

• The upper age limit is 40 years.

For General Duty Medical Officer, Child Psychologist, Nursing Officer, Junior Occupational Therapist, Medical Laboratory Technologist-

• The upper age limit is 35 years.

For X-RAY Technician and Medical Laboratory Technologist, Pharmacist and Junior Administrative Assistant- 

• The upper age limit is 30 years.

For Stenographer Grade-II- 

• The upper age limit is 27 years.

Selection Procedure for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

Candidate will be selected on the basis of a written test and skill test.

The test will be held in for computer Based Test (CBT) in the location- Puducherry, Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kochi, Kozikode, Kollam and Kannur or any other places as decided by the Director, JIPMER.

• The date of exam will be 02.12.23
• Candidates can download the call letters from the official website on 24.11.23.

Application for JIPMER Recruitment 2023:

Candidates willing to apply for JIPMER Recruitment 2023 have to pay application fee as given below-

• For UR, EWS and OBC- Rs. 1500 including transaction charges.
• For ST/SC- Rs. 1200 including transaction charges.

PwBD category candidates are exempted from fee payment.
