JIPMER Recruitment 2023: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Professor and Assistant Professor in various Speciality/ Super-Speciality at JIPMER, Puducherry and Karaikal campuses. As mentioned in the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, there are 134 vacancies for the mentioned positions. The educational qualification is different for each post (according to the posts) mentioned below in the article. The candidates should have relevant years of experience in their appropriate fields. The candidates selected for the mentioned position will get a monthly salary from Level-12 (Rs.101500–167400) to Level-14-A (Rs.168900–220400). The candidates applying for the post of Professor should not exceed 58 years and the candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor should not exceed 50 years.

According to the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2023, the applicable candidates will be selected on the basis of personal interviews/ online video conferencing conducted by the committee. The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs.1200 and 1500 (according to the categories). The application fee is exempted for PWBD Candidates. The candidates should have at least 14 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology:

The candidates should have at least 03 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology (Cardiac Anaesthesiology):

The candidates should have a D.M. in Cardiac Anaesthesiology (Three years) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto (no experience required) (or) a D.M. in Cardiac Anaesthesiology (02 years or 05 years recognized course after MBBS) with 01-year of teaching and/or research experience in recognized institutions/universities in the subject of speciality after obtaining D.M. in Cardiac Anaesthesiology (02 years or 05 years course).

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology (Critical Care):

The candidates should have D.M. in Critical Care (03 years) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto (no experience required) (or) D.M. in Critical Care (02 years or 05 years recognized course after MBBS) with 01-year teaching and/or research experience in recognized institutions/universities in the subject of speciality after obtaining D.M. in Critical Care (02 years or 05 years course).

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology (Neuro Anaesthesiology):

The candidates should have D.M. in Neuro-Anaesthesiology (03 years) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto (no experience required) (or) D.M. in Neuro-Anaesthesiology (02 years or 05 years recognized course after MBBS) with 01-year teaching and/or research experience in recognized institutions/universities in the subject of speciality after obtaining D.M. in Neuro-Anaesthesiology (02 years or 05 years course).

The candidates should have a medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act) or a postgraduate qualification that is, M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor of Anaesthesiology:

The candidates should have a medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act) or a postgraduate qualification that is, M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
