JKPSC Recruitment 2023: Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), seeks applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Assistant Professor in various disciples for Government Medical Colleges of Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Kathua, Rajouri, Handwara and Udhampur in Health & Medical Education Department. As per the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment will be made for 124 vacancies. The selected Assistant Professors will be paid a monthly salary on the pay scale 11 (Rs.67700-208700). The age range of interested candidates should be between 40 to 45 years in age across all mentioned positions as of 01.01.2005. The selection will be made in line with Rule 44 of the Ammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, as modified from time to time.
As per in the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates must apply online through the Commission’s website. Applications submitted through other modes of application will not be accepted. The application form along with instructions for filling up the application forms is available at the site from 4th August 2023. Candidates are required to upload the documents including their Birth certificate, Domicile certificate, M.B.B.S Degree certificate/marks card, DM/M.Ch/DNB (SS) certificate, one-year Senior Residency or equivalent experience, Valid category/PHC certificate, with other papers on the official before 19.08.2023. Application Forms submitted without payment of the fee, which is proved by the reflection of the same on the application form, are considered incomplete, and candidature is deemed to have been denied without notice. Applicants who are currently employed by the government and want to apply as in-service candidates must route their application through the administrative department.

As per the JKPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates should have the following eligibilities.
For Assistant Professor (Anatomy)
The candidates should have MS (Anatomy)/MD (Anatomy)/DNB (anatomy)/MBBS with M. Sc (anatomy)/M. Sc (Medical Anatomy) with PhD (medical anatomy) M. Sc (medical anatomy) with a D. Sc (medical anatomy) from an institution duly recognized by the medical council of India.
For Assistant Professor (Anesthesiology)
The candidates should have MD (anesthesiology)/MS (anesthesiology)/ DNB (Anesthesiology) from an institution duly recognized by the medical council of India (now the national medical commission).
For Assistant Professor (Dermatology)
The candidates should have MD (Dermatology and Venereology)/ DNB (Dermatology. Venerology and leprosy md medicine with a diploma in Vernical diseases or diploma in dermatology from an institution duly recognized by the medical council of India with a minimum of 02 years of teaching/research experience as registrar.
