GE is hiring an experienced Lead FP&A Analyst – Grid Software at their Bangalore location. The FP&A Analyst – Grid Software will provide financial reporting and analytics support for the Grid Software segment within GE Digital. This role will help support the business through short term and long term strategic financial planning and analysis by partnering with leaders across functions to develop robust, dynamic, & scalable models that can be quickly adapted and updated based on the direction of the organization, and support business functional leaders to make strategic decisions on investment and growth opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate should be able to:
Prepare consolidated financial reports to support global and regional teams during weekly pacing, monthly closing, operating reviews, and planning cycles.
Develop and/or enhance existing financial reporting packages to reduce manual spreadsheets and promote standard work
Prepare rolling forecast, in partnership with global and regional finance leaders, and perform variance analysis to actuals
Develop and/or enhance existing financial models to enable robust and dynamic financial planning on a rolling basis
Research transaction level details, develop spend types, establish relationship with business operations to validate the need of the spend.
Document process, systems, and data flow related to operational P&L and share it with regional teams to save time and effort in validating transactions.
Partner with Global FP&A, Regional Finance Leaders, and Controllership teams to develop and implement Lean processes in Closing and Reporting.
Problem solving, continuous improvement, and passionate to deliver results
Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex issues in concise manner
Financial reporting & analysis expertise
Self-driven
Connecting the results/analysis to business, strategy, and process
Experience with Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, and Onestream
For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Chartered Accountant
Minimum 4 years of Financial analysis experience.
The Ideal Candidate should also have:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
Proven project management experience, including coordinating multiple people / projects simultaneously
Demonstrated analytical and modeling capabilities
Comfortable working in matrixed and global environments
Experience with MS Access, SQL, XML, or IT Project Management in functional capacity.
