• The applicant must have Contribution to educational innovation, the design of new curricula and courses, and technology–mediated teaching-learning process.
• The applicant must have a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on ICAR Regulations/ UGC Regulations.
• The applicant must be a member of the State Veterinary Council or the Veterinary Council of India.

For Principal-

• The applicant must have a Master’s Degree with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the concerned/relevant faculty/discipline by a recognised University.
• The applicant must have a Ph.D. Degree in concerned/relevant faculty/discipline in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
• The applicant must have an Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/ administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
• The applicant must have a minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on ICAR regulation/UGC’s regulation on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education-2010.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have good knowledge of the educational system prevalent at the National and International level and familiarity with modern concepts of organisation and coordination of Teaching, Research and Extension Education activities.

For Professor Research Scientist / Extension Educationist and its equivalent (Veterinary Science)-
