As informed by the official notification of KIOCL Recruitment 2023, applications are invited to fill the vacancy for the post of Assistant Mines Manager, Civil Engineer, Mines Foreman, Mine Mate and Blaster.  There are 10 vacant seats available for the mentioned posts.

Age Limit for KIOCL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of KIOCL Recruitment 2023, the candidate should be a maximum age of 40 years as on the date of 30.09.2023.

Qualification and Experience for KIOCL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates have the required qualifications and experience mentioned below to apply for KIOCL Recruitment 2023-

For Assistant Mines Manager-

• The candidate should have a B.E. or B. Tech Engineering in Mining / Diploma in Mining or Mine Surveying Engineering from a recognized University / Institution, Candidates should have obtained a minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA (aggregate of all semesters/years) for General/EWS categories and 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA (aggregate of all semesters/years) for SC, ST, OBC categories.
• The candidate should have a valid Second-Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (under MMR 1961).

Experience-

Candidate should have a minimum of 05 / 10 years post Educational Qualification working experience in mines, respectively among the following-

• Performing the duties of the Asst. Mines Manager as per Regulation No. 45 of MMR 1961.
• Mine Safety,
• Mine Workings-

1. Mine Survey
2. ROM Quality and Quantity monitoring.
3. Dump and Road management.
4. Achievement of production targets as per instruction of the mine manager.
5. Operation of opencast metal mines including mine planning.
6. Drilling and Blasting, Production/Excavation, Mines Safety.

• Mine Environment-
• Implementation of QEOHS (Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety) policy in the mines.
• R and R Works.
• Submission of Returns and maintenance of statutory records.

Desirable-

• Candidate should be a good team player with good computer skills, knowledge in Mine Planning, submission of returns and maintenance of Mining Records as per statute and written and oral communication skills.
• Candidate should have knowledge of mining software, survey software, CAD software, ERP and understanding of MMDR Act, Rules, Regulations and Guidelines connected with Mining, Forest and Environment.

For Civil Engineer-

• The candidate should have a B.E. or B. Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institution and any specialization course on Mine Environment Management / Monitoring shall be an added advantage.

Experience-

The candidate should have at least 05 / 10 years of post-qualification working experience in the following-

• R and R and Other Works for Mines.
• Field Surveys/estimations.
• Civil Engineering (Design / Plan / Execution) works for Mines in the mineral Industry with special exposure to mine roads and conveyor structures.
• Environmental Management works for Mines and the mineral Industry.
• Planning of structural construction, maintenance works, preparation of estimates, rate analysis and schedule of works.
• Planning of work at the site and providing remedial measures/sketches for the execution of work, monitoring quality and safety standards etc.

Desirable-

• Candidate should be a good team player with good computer skills (Auto CAD / MS Project), experience in map reading, reviewing blueprints, design techniques, knowledge of submission of returns and maintenance of Records as per statute w.r.t Monitoring of Mine Environment / Pollution Control, written and oral communication skills.

Salary for KIOCL Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates for KIOCL Recruitment 2023, the candidates who are selected will get a monthly salary up to Rs.70000.

Tenure for KIOCL Recruitment 2023:

The engagement is made on a contract basis. The selected candidates for KIOCL Recruitment 2023 will be recruited for a period of 02 years. The place of posting will be Sandur, Bellary District. 

Selection Process for KIOCL Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of KIOCL Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the walk-in interview. No TA will be paid for attending the Walk-in Interview.
