KRCL Recruitment 2023: The Chief Personnel Officer, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has sought Applications from Experienced Officers with Eligibility for Appointment on the Chief Mechanical Engineer/Project (CMEP/Proj) Post on Deputation Basis for Posting in the Corporate Office, Belapur, Navi Mumbai based on the KRCL Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice Dated 29.05.2023. As per the KRCL Recruitment 2023, Appropriately Suitable Officers selected as Chief Mechanical Engineer (Project) will be appointed under the Pay Scale Level notified hereunder.
Pay Matrix Scale: Level 14 of Senior Administrative Grade (SAG)/Senior Grade (SG) as per the Pay Matrix Level 14; (Or) or Pay Matrix Level 13 of the 7th Central Pay Commission
Note: The Officer will draw Pay and Allowances as per the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) Instructions, which would have been admissible to Him/Her from time to time on the Railways Plus Deputation (Duty) Allowance

The Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) Officer working in Pay Matrix Level 14 Or Mechanical Engineer Executives working in other Public Sector Undertakings in the IDA Scale E-08 (Rs.1.20 Lac – Rs.2.80 Lac); (Or)
IRSME Officer working in Pay Matrix Level 13 with 15-Years’ Experience Or Mechanical Engineer Executives working in other Public Sector Undertakings in the IDA Scale E-06 (Rs.90000 – Rs.240000 ) with 15 Years’ Experience.
Experience: The Officer should have experience in the Post-relevant Job Area.
The Indian Railway Board constituted Screening Authority will shortlist the Candidates to be called in for Viva-voce/Personal Interaction/Interview.
The Shortlisted Candidates shall be summoned to appear for Viva-voce/Personal Interaction/ Interview. Post-Selection the Candidate would be issued an Appointment by Deputation for Posting in Navi Mumbai.
Overall Deputation Term Engagement Tenure for Chief Mechanical Engineer (Project) Post shall remain 05 Years in Aggregate. The Candidate will be appointed initially for 03 Years with subsequent Extension of 02 Years Totaling 05 Years.
