MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2022: The Mahanirmiti, which is also known as Mahagenco (Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited-MSPGCL) is a major power generating corporation located in the state of Maharashtra, India. Initially known as MSEB (Maharashtra State Electricity Board), it is also a fully owned subsidiary of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board. The company has a total generation of 14,400 MW, and it is even recognized as the second largest power-producing company in India.

The company’s headquarter is located in Bandra, Mumbai, India, and it has been incorporated under the Indian Companies Act 1956. Recently, there is a notification has been issued on the official website of MAHAGENCO regarding the recruitment to the vacant post of Executive Engineer, Additional Executive Engineer, and Deputy Executive Engineer. There are 73 vacancies reserved for the post of Executive Engineer, 154 are available for Additional Executive Engineer, and 103 are for Deputy Executive Engineer.

Educational Qualifications for Executive Engineer

A graduate’ Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering / Power Engineering / Electrical & Power Engineering & Technology from recognized University.  Also, candidates must have at least 9 years of experience in a Power Generation Company of Central/ State/ IPP (Independent Power Producer) under the principal employer or 2 years of experience working in the post of Addl. Executive Engineer.

For Additional Executive Engineer

Candidates who are going to apply for the following post must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering / Power Engineering / Electrical & Power Engineering & Technology from a recognized University. In addition, 7 years of experience in a Power Generation Company of Central/ State/ IPP (Independent Power Producer) under a principal employer will also be preferred to apply for the post. 

For Deputy Executive Engineer 

The candidates with a bachelors’ Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering / Power Engineering / Electrical & Power Engineering & Technology from recognized University will be considered eligible for the following post. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Power Generation Company of Central/ State/ IPP (Independent Power Producer) under the principal employer will also be preferred for the post. 

Age Limit

For Executive Engineer: 40 years, For Mahagenco Employees: 57 years (including Covid age relaxation)

For Addl. Executive Engineer: 40 years, For Mahagenco Employees: 57 years (including Covid age relaxation)

For Dy. Executive Engineer: 38 years, For Mahagenco Employees: 57 years (including Covid age relaxation)
