Post Name and Vacancy for MDL Recruitment 2023:

MDL is hiring eligible Graduate/ Diploma holders for undergoing One Year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

Age Limit for MDL Recruitment 2023:

The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years.

Age relaxation by 5 yrs. for SC/ST, 3 yrs. for OBC-NCL and 10 yrs. for PWD

Educational Qualification for MDL Recruitment 2023:

For Graduate Apprentices

i. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in a relevant discipline.

ii. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline.

iii. The Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.

For Diploma Apprentices

i. A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in a relevant discipline.

ii. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in a relevant discipline

iii. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution recognized by State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.

Stipend for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As per the MDL Recruitment 2023 notification, the stipend for the Graduate Apprentices is Rs. 9000 per month and for the Diploma Apprentices, the stipend is Rs. 8000 per month.

Selection Procedure for MDL Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Application received from the NATS portal, candidates will be called for document verification & interview at MDL, as per marks obtained in the qualifying examination, the candidates will be required to furnish documents regarding proof of Date of Birth, Qualification, and Category, etc.

Every candidate should have a valid email id & mobile no. and the same has to be registered with NATS. The email id & mobile no. must remain active until the end of the training program in respect of the selected candidates. MDL will not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent due to an invalid/wrong E-mail ID provided by the candidate or delivery of e-mails to SPAM / BULK mail folder etc.

Application Process for MDL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates willing to apply for Graduate / Diploma Apprentice trainee in MDL will be required to submit the online application through Govt. NATS portal. Once candidates have enrolled themselves on the NATS Portal, candidates to log onto the NATS Portal using their USER ID/Email ID and password. Once logged in, on the home page, candidates have to click on “ESTABLISHMENT REQUESTS” and select the option “Find Establishment” from the drop-down menu.

Once candidates click on “Find Establishment”, the page appears with two “Search Criterions”, i.e. Options to search by 1) Preferences and 2) Establishment Name. Among the search criterion options select Establishment Name, candidates need to type MAZAGON DOCK SHIPBUILDERS LIMITED and click on the option “Search”.

Once candidates click on search, apprentice vacancies at “MAZAGON DOCK SHIPBUILDERS LIMITED” appears.
Candidates need to click on the establishment name “MAZAGON DOCK SHIPBUILDERS LIMITED” with the establishment ID WMHMCS000044” and select the “Apply” button. Once candidates click on the “Apply” button a message appears as given below “successfully applied for the training position”.
