The Ministry of External Affairs is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the post of Consultant. There is only 01 opening to be filled for MEA Recruitment 2024.

Qualification and Experience for MEA Recruitment 2024:

The required qualifications and experience to apply for MEA Recruitment 2024 are mentioned below-

• The applicant must possess a graduate degree from a reputed Indian or International institution/University in International Relations/International Law/Political Science/History/International Developments preferably with a focus on migration.
• The applicant must have expertise in the field of the Migration and Mobility of Indian workers.
• The applicant must possess good writing and analytical skills.
• The applicant must possess good speaking skills in English and any other foreign language.
• The applicant must be proficient in computers.

Experience-

Previous experience of 5-10 years in one or more of the following-

• Handling international migration policies.
• Research in creating overseas employment. 
• Resolving the issues of the overseas Indian workers in coordination with the states and central government and other organizations. 
• Experience in participating in international meetings involving discussions/negotiation on any of the contemporary issues with global ramifications.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have a Ph.D./Post Graduate degree from a reputed Indian or International Institution/ University in International Relations/ International Law/Political Science/History/International Developments preferably with a focus on international migration.
• The applicant must have work experience with International Organizations/ International Institutions/ UN agencies/ Government of India.

Age Limit for MEA Recruitment 2024:

The minimum age limit is 25 years and the maximum age limit is 50 years to apply for the MEA Recruitment 2024.

Tenure for MEA Recruitment 2024:

The appointment is made on a contract basis and the chosen candidates for MEA Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for a period of 01 year but may be extended further depending on the assessment of performance, mutual willingness and depending on the requirement. The place of posting will be the Ministry of External Affairs Headquarters, New Delhi.

Salary for MEA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates who are selected for MEA Recruitment 2024 will be paid an annual income of Rs.10 Lakhs and a deduction of applicable taxes. The amount of consultancy fee so fixed will remain unchanged during the term of engagement.  

Selection Process for MEA Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for MEA Recruitment 2024 on the basis of an interview. The shortlisted candidates will be intimated later for the date, time and venue of the interview. There will be no TA/DA payable by the Ministry to Applicants for attending an interview.
