Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024: The Ministry Of Communication is hiring candidates to fill up the post of consultants at the level of Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) on a temporary contract basis. In accordance with the official notification of the Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024, candidates will be posted in UP(East) LSA Lucknow, Department of Telecommunications (DoT). There are 04 vacancies for the assigned position. The applicant will be hired based on personal interaction/Interview.
The chosen candidate will be appointed on a contractual basis for 06 months or till regular manpower is posted, whichever is earlier, per the official Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024 notification. Referring to the official notification of the Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024, the remuneration and allowances payable will be as per Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance OM No. 03-25/2020-E-IITA dated 09.12.2020 endorsed by DoT letter No. 1- 3(01)/2021-PAT dated 08-02-2021. The maximum age limit for the assigned position should not cross 64 years. The Ministry of Communication is currently accepting applications for temporary contract positions as consultants at the Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) levels. For the designated role, there are 4 openings.
The age restriction for the designated role shall not exceed 64 years of age in line with the official Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024 notification.
Based on the official notification of the Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024, the applicant will be appointed for a tenure period of six months extendable further up to a maximum of 6 terms of 6 months each or up to 65 years of age whichever is earlier depending on their performance or till regular officials are available.

As per the official notification of the Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024, candidates would be assigned to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in UP(East) LSA Lucknow.
The remuneration and allowances payable will be as per Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance OM No. 03-25/2020-E-IITA dated 09.12.2020 endorsed by DoT letter No. 1- 3(01)/2021-PAT dated 08-02-2021 (Copy at Annexure-D) and that of the retired PSU employees will be in accordance with DoT HQ Letter No. 3-10/2014-SEA-1/Fin.
